WOMAN.

Before there was a book...
there was a woman.

There was a season when Niyah wasn’t sure she would recognize herself again. Divorce. Depression. Single motherhood. The pursuit of a doctorate while carrying the weight of rebuilding a life. It wasn’t the story she would have chosen—but it became the story God would use.

Today, Niyah C. Peltier is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and ministry leader passionate about helping women heal, grow, and boldly pursue the purpose God has placed on their lives. Through transparent storytelling, practical teaching, and faith-centered encouragement, she uses her experiences to remind women that difficult seasons do not have to be the end of their story.

She is the author of Divorced. Depressed. Doctorate.: How God Carried Me Through Heartbreak, Depression, and Destiny, a deeply personal testimony of faith, perseverance, healing, and transformation. Through the book, Niyah shares the realities of navigating heartbreak, depression, motherhood, and the pursuit of higher education while discovering that purpose can still emerge from the places that once felt broken.

As the founder of The DBC Agency, Niyah brings another side of her creativity and leadership to life. Through creative direction, branding, website development, consulting, and professional training, she partners with entrepreneurs, ministries, and organizations to transform ideas into meaningful experiences and build with intention and purpose.

Niyah also leads Daughters of the King (DOK), a women’s ministry created to cultivate faith, identity, sisterhood, and purpose. Through ministry, community, and creative experiences, DOK reflects Niyah’s heart for creating spaces where women can deepen their relationship with God, embrace who they are, and become who He has called them to be.

Education has also remained an important part of Niyah’s journey. After earning degrees in business, healthcare management, and business administration, she continued her education by pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). Her academic journey represents more than professional achievement; it is part of a larger story of perseverance, discipline, and continuing to move forward even when life does not unfold according to plan.

Across every part of her life—writing, speaking, business, ministry, education, and motherhood—Niyah believes that faith and excellence belong together. Her work is rooted in the belief that the hardest seasons of our lives can still produce something meaningful, and that becoming is not about having a perfect story. It is about allowing God to use every chapter.

When she isn’t writing, speaking, building, or serving in ministry, Niyah is most at home simply being herself: a mother, a daughter, a sister, a creative, and a woman who is still becoming. She enjoys spending time with her children, watching a good movie, dreaming up her next project, and embracing the life she once had to fight to rebuild.

“The hardest chapter of my life became the first chapter of my purpose.”
